Flamingos
Despite all the development on the corniche recently in Al Khobar, the flamingos are back in force.
Borneo Expedition
It is hard to believe that it is almost a year since we took the kids to India on the Darjeeling Expedition. That was a fantatic trip and the next one looks like it will be even better.
On Wednesday we leave for Borneo. Can’t wait.
Hope all the kids have managed to get fit enough for Mt Kinabalu! Did they break their boots in on time …
Packing is going to be a challenge this year – the small aircraft we will be using in Malaysia means that we have to travel light or pay the price.
Desert Designs
The salesmen at Desert Designs are pressuring customers hard these days. I wonder if they have started to earn commissions. Lu bought a carpet last night – a Saudi tent rug. The same salesman worked hard on me too – but without any money or credit card in my pocket I was safe.
